Sugared Almonds Bridal has nearly 30 years experience in helping brides find their dream dress with the help of award winning bridal designer Maggie Sottero designs. Our intimate wedding dress shop is based in Earby, Lancashire, 10 minutes from Skipton, North Yorkshire and 15 minutes from the M65, Burnley, Lancashire.

"I chose my dress from here last year and got married in September. Karen brought my size 16 dress to fit me (size 6/8) and made a few personalised adjustments as well. She did a beautiful job, you couldn't even tell it had been the size it was! Katie and Abi were so helpful and complementary during all my fittings and nothing was too much trouble. They stored my dress in house and collection was very simple. I would recommend this boutique to anyone. Thank you again to everyone for making my dreams come true."

"I found my dress of dreams at Sugared Almonds! The ladies were so helpful at making the dress perfect. Being only 5ft 2" it needed length taking off and straps altering and they did it beautifully.I had a mini-meltdown about 3 months prior to the wedding, wondering if I had chosen the right dress. I called Abigail in a panic and she quickly accommodated me for an extra fitting with my bridesmaid to try it on again. Of course I instantly fell in love with the dress all over again. (Minerva in blush by Maggie Sottero in case anyone is wondering) They matched me with a perfect veil to complement the dress. "I cannot thank the ladies here enough for making finding my dream dress the amazing experience it was. I didn’t plan on finding my dress in the first shop I visited, but they made it so easy and exciting, and I fell in love with my dress. The shop is gorgeous, clean, and the experience felt so personal, and the ladies are so so lovely and complimentary. They also tailored my dress to perfection and I felt so confident on my wedding day, even making some last minute adjustments 2 weeks before I got married so it was perfect. "I have visited many bridal boutiques on my dress journey!! To be fair all have been lovely but there is just something extra special about Sugared Almonds. The shop manages to feel both magical and tranquil. Katy and Abi really are so patient and are genuinely lovely ladies I felt very comfortable in the shop. I did not at any point feel like I was being sold to. They were happy to comply with my every request (there were many!) and I never felt rushed or under pressure. "All the staff at Sugared Almonds went above and beyond to ensure my wedding dress process was seamless.
The shop was easy to find just off the main road through earby. With plenty of on street parking nearby.
I never felt rushed or pressured through any of my appointments. I think I tried my final dress on 3 separate times during my first appointment to make sure it was the right one, along with a few others and nothing was an inconvenience or too much trouble for the girls there.
There was even under floor heating in the changing room so my feet didn’t get cold when getting dressed!
Once ordered and delivered, they were happy to store my dress at the shop, so I knew it would be kept in the best condition possible before the big day.
They have an in house seamstress so my dress never actually left the store until a couple of days before the wedding. Which gave me reassurance and peace of mind that it was in good hands. Once I collected my dress they helped me put it into my car carefully and showed me how to hang it once I had gotten it home.
Honestly I could not have picked a better bridal shop, they really helped make everything as easy as possible and I felt so valued and cared for as one of their customers. I would really recommend to anyone to go here not only for the huge variety of dresses they have but all the staff are so friendly and welcoming.
