Louise & Joe May 2017

December 6, 2017

Our gorgeous bride Louise tied the knot back in May 2017. Louise choose her bridal gown from our award winning designer Maggie Sottero, opting to go for a stunning fit and flare gown with tiers of fluted organza, a perfect choice for Louise as a fashion-forward bride.

All the ladies at Sugared Almonds loved helping Louise with her wedding dress fittings and we couldn’t wait to see the photographs of her fantastic venue abroad.

Here are a few words from our bride Louise on her experience with us at Sugared Almonds and her big day…..

“I bought my dress, underskirt and veil from you lovely ladies at Sugared Almonds and the service I received was perfect from start to finish! (Your shop was recommended to me)”

“I came in to try dresses on 3 times in total (excluding my fittings) and I never felt rushed, nor was I made to feel too ‘picky’, everyone was lovely, helpful and patient.”

“I would not hesitate to recommend Sugared Almonds to any bride looking for her perfect dress.

Joe and I married at L’abbaye de Talloires, a hotel in Talloires on Lake Annecey in France. It was the most perfect day ever!”

“My shoes were from Bellabelle, a Boston and Houston based wedding shoe designer.”

“Joe’s suit was bespoke from ‘A suit that fits’.”

“Our string quartet was Capella, who are an award winning quartet based in Glasgow. Anyone considering a trio or quartet, I would highly recommend them, they were outstanding and really made the atmosphere of the day.”

“Our photographer was Carlton from www.ribblevalleyphoto.co.uk and his style very relaxed. We flew him out to France because believe it or not it was no more expensive to do this because of the prices which French suppliers charge and the exchange rate.”

“My flowers were from natahaliefleurs.com”

“Thanks again.”
